MUKOITA is the result of over two decades of experience in some of the best kitchens in the Bay Area and NYC. A collaboration between two corporate Chefs, more than anything it is a vehicle for us to continue to geek out, grow and elevate ourselves in the art of Edomae inspired sushi. And as of the beginning of 2026 here, we have made our splash into the world of Culinary & Hospitality Operations with our first full service management contract in downtown Palo Alto, with plans for expansion.

With an extensive background in two and three Michelin establishments spanning over twenty years, we strive to offer an unparalleled caliber of experience tailored uniquely to each and every event we curate. Whether it's the consistency of the knife work, the temperature of the rice, or slightly adjusting the size of every bite of nigiri for each guest as we observe them eaten, it are these types of nuances that we wholeheartedly believe distinguish great work.

When not crafting these types of personalized and bespoke experiences, our Chefs run corporate sushi and catering management contracts grossing just over $6 million in annual revenue spanning South San Francisco and the Peninsula.
